A Bleu Vanilla cupcake stall in SM North EDSA caught my attention a few weeks ago. I don’t have a sweet tooth but I’m very fond of either staring at or munching on mouthwatering cupcakes.

Bleu Vanilla had quite a variety of yummy cupcakes on display. I wanted to sample each of them but I doubt my taste buds would allow me to, because I can only tolerate sweets in small servings. However, it’s my goal this year to start baking cupcakes (which means I’m going to have to taste the batter with all the sugar in it), if my time and our budget would allow me to.

I have this weird scenery in my head wherein I run a cafe and sell kawaii cakes, cupcakes, and other sweet treats… Oh well, in the mean time I’ll just enjoy playing the Bakery Story game app.

I tried one of their bestsellers, the Carrot cupcake (PhP 65), set in a blue box . It looks like a traditional carrot cake, with cream cheese frosting, crushed walnuts, and a carrot fondant on top. It was really good and moist but tasted a little too sweet for my liking. But I bet that if you’re a sweets lover, you would absolutely, definitely, totally enjoy this.

Here’s a list of some of the classic Bleu Vanilla cupcakes taken from their website. I’d love to try their Red Velvet and Cool Mint Choco next time.
