A Tinker House opened near Lyric where Z is taking piano lessons so we often spend our time there making arts & crafts.
Z had a slime making activity during our previous visit so this time he said he will try to work with fuse beads or more popularly known as Perler beads.
It’s our first time to make fuse bead art. Since we’re big superhero geeks, he chose Iron Man.
The project is simple, with only 3 bead colors. He was given a small-sized plastic pegboard to start. There’s a pattern for him to follow and so he arranged the plastic fusible beads on the pegboard using a tweezer.
This activity helps improve focus and concentration, pati na rin fine motor skills. 🙂

Almost finished! This is how it looks like when the beads are attached to the pegboard. Now, this is ready for ironing.
An ironing paper or parchment paper was put on top before ironing so the beads won’t stick to the iron.
Iron until the beads [on top] are melted, but not all the way through.
He’s got an Iron Man keychain made from fuse beads! 🙂 I think we’ll be doing more fuse bead art activities. Maybe we can create our own patterns! I’ll check some supplies on Shopee. 🙂
