It’s my first time to attend Baby Company’s Grand Baby Fair and I did enjoy the shopping experience together with my husband and my 2-year old kid. Last Thursday, I was given an opportunity to take a sneak peek inside and luckily, I met Ms. Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan. She was very accommodating and she shared with me some tips about parenting. I bought her book “Mommy Talk” and she was able to sign it for me. Sabi pa niya, “If you have any questions, you can tweet me!”
“Country Fair” is the theme for this year. A purple barn and barn animals completed the symposium area. I wonder what’s the theme for next year. Alice in Wonderland, Wild West, Luau, or Peter Pan perhaps?
By the time we closed in on the stage, the topic was about birthing. A question from a mother struck me. “Is it better to give birth without anesthesia?” I can only imagine the pain without the epidural, but I’m considering it for my next baby.
As expected, mothers of all ages and pregnant women flocked to the event. As we made our way through the crowd, I had to make sure I’m not bumping into any pregnant mom in the area.
Johnson’s stall. They teach moms on how bathe their babies, how to make them sleep soundly at night, and how to make them feel more comfortable during hot days.
There’s also a Gymboree play area for kids. My son very much enjoyed this part.
Toys, feeding bottles, strollers, cribs, bathtubs, beddings – he had outgrown these already, but potty training? Not yet. So we took home this dual-purpose potty/chair.
I also checked out a baby night light, a bedtime essential. 🙂
The event was organized. There are water stations, free candies (when you’re waiting in line to pay), lots of freebies, free photobooth prints, and of course, big discounts from your trusted brands like Chicco, Avent, Graco, Aprica, Johnson’s, and many more.
You can still make it tomorrow! It’s going to be the last so make the most of it. No entrance fees!
