I’ve always wanted to have additional ear piercings so I took the jump when I saw the buy 1 get 1 promo of Vimana Tattoo Studio last February 2023.

After a few months, my two new ear piercings weren’t healing properly (helix and upper, upper lobe) so I messaged Vimana about it. They weren’t responding to my messages so I decided to get an appointment with Piercings by Ravana.

I should have downsized my piercings after 3 months but I didn’t, as I was hoping that my piercings would eventually heal. Big mistake. After a few months, my piercings were still sore (I really can’t protect them when I’m sleeping lol) and sometimes I get that icky pus and they also get flaky once in a while. There was a time when I thought it was already healed, but I accidentally bumped my helix and I’m back to square one. Even my hair strands get in the way of healing.

I had my appointment at Piercings by Ravana QC Studio in February this year (yes I waited one year for my piercings to heal but to no avail). Their studio is located at Don Antonio Heights Quezon City. 

I booked online via piercingsravana.com. You need to fill out all the necessary info then pay the PhP 500 reservation fee, which will be deducted from your total bill. The small studio is clean and cozy. And since I went there for an appointment, I only waited for a few minutes before it’s my turn to get my piercings checked.

They let me choose my replacement earrings. The jewelry are made from titanium, which is hypoallergenic and high quality. Jewelry prices range from PhP 500 and above, and can be anodized upon request, that is if you’re there to purchase or for replacement.

I was relieved that I didn’t need to visit a doctor. My piercings are okay, not healed, but they’re alright. I was advised by Ms. Rachel to take care of them consistently. I am currently using Neilmed Piercing Aftercare Fine Mist Saline Cleanser. Each 177ml can costs PhP 800.

My default stainless steel earrings from Vimana were removed, and then Ms. Rachel cleaned them, then attached the earrings carefully. I’ve chosen these oval stuff in colors opal and deep purple. I also had them changed into gold.
