May had been a busy month for me — from completing requirements for my eldest son’s graduation up to scheduling online consultations to get the latest medical prescriptions for my youngest child — it was a whirlwind of a month! Nevertheless, I’m so grateful for online services that help make my life easier.
What online services am I talking about? Well, there’s GrabFood whenever I don’t feel like cooking. For hassle-free money transfers and payments, there’s GCash. Then Shopee, for catering to my online shopping needs (groceries and all), and then there’s also a website for PSA birth certificate online application wherein I can request PSA certificates and then have them delivered to my doorstep.
What is PSAHelpline.ph?
PSAHelpline.ph has been authorized by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) since the year 2000 to handle online requests and nationwide delivery of PSA certificates.
The request and delivery services can be accomplished online through their website and are supported by a hotline or via email. They also have a FAQs section for general queries.
Here are the certificates that you can request online at PSAHelpline.ph:
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate
- Death Certificate
- CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage Record)
I was impressed that the whole process of PSA online application was hassle-free and can be accomplished in 3 easy steps:
- Request for a certificate online
- Pay online or over-the-counter
- Wait for the delivery
Request for PSA certificates online
Since I will be needing copies of my kids’ birth certificates, I proceeded to the next step — providing the necessary information. You need to double-check the details before going to the next step.
Note that you may apply for a copy of your PSA birth certificate, your parent, or your child. If the certificate is for your spouse, you may ask him or her to do the request.
If your spouse can’t order directly, you may call PSAHelpline.ph: (02) 8737-1111. Their hotline is open from Mondays – Saturdays (excluding holidays), from 8AM to 5PM.
Pay Online or Over-The-Counter
Cost of PSA Certificates:
- PHP 365 – Birth, Marriage, or Death Certificates
- PHP 420 – CENOMAR
They have various payment options so choose the most convenient payment channel for you. You may pay online using your credit card or mobile wallet apps, over the counter at their accredited payment centers, or through partner banks.
I paid for our certificates online via GCash. I didn’t have to go outside to pay. Sobrang convenient for me.

- 7-Eleven store using the CLIQQ machine
- Bayad store

Wait for the Delivery
You will be given a Reference Number for each certificate ordered. You may check the status of your order on their website, from the ‘Check Status’ tab. They also send out regular updates via email and SMS.
- Metro Manila: 3-4 working days
- Outside Metro Manila: 3-8 working days
I ordered the certificates on May 4 and received them on May 11. 🙂 I highly recommend their service, especially if you’re a busy parent and you can hardly keep up with the demands of work and house chores. For me, it’s a really big help because I didn’t need to go to the PSA office anymore to get copies of the PSA certificates that I need. 🙂
