Becoming a princess is every girl’s dream. Well I don’t know about other girls but personally, it’s my secret dream. I’m all for the idea of fairytale balls, fairy godmothers, happily ever afters, and prince charming. That’s why even after “growing up” and having two children, I still watch fairytales.. especially Disney movies.

I do not have a particular best-loved Disney princess (because I see a little of myself in each and every one of them), but I do have an all-time fave Disney princess song. I think every girl has one, and mine is Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid.

When my uncle Brando gifted me a CD of the Disney’s Princess Collection back when I was in elementary, listening to the whole music collection became a daily routine for me. I favored The Little Mermaid’s Part of Your World from the selection and it became a shower-staple song for me.

The song, on a personal level, reminds me of my childhood. The line â€śbet they don’t…REPRIMAND their daughters,” is something that little girls and teenagers would completely relate to.

I recently stumbled upon this quiz on PlayBuzz, “Do You Really Know All The Part of Your World Lyrics?”, and guess what? I aced it. I know every word and every punctuation mark. 🙂

I can’t wait to see Ariel, live, at Disney On Ice, and I hope that they play my favorite song. 🙂
