Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween 2019
Last October 26, Mommy Bloggers Philippines – a friendly community of Filipino mommy bloggers – held its Pre-Halloween Costume Party at McDonald’s BGC Forum.
We were invited by Mommy Lani, one of the founders of Mommy Bloggers Philippines and it was to my delight because it was my first time to attend a Halloween event by MBP and it was also Z’s first time to visit Kidzania.
Halloween-themed #McDoParty
Part 1 of the MBP Halloween celebration is a McDonald’s Party. 🙂 Kids were requested to wear Halloween costumes for the day’s activities. Z still has a Prince Charming costume (buy it here: https://shp.ee/ayfdmv5) from last year’s school hosting stint, so I thought he could wear it again instead na bumili kami ng bago.. and it still looks new! Take note of this tipid tip, mommies! 🙂
Before the party started, the kids had free time getting to know each other. I don’t always attend events so I only know a few moms and their kids from the party. I’ve met a few that I recognize online but hadn’t met yet in real life.
I’m still recovering from a major depressive episode and saying YES and actually going to this party did well for me. 🙂
And this was for my son. I’d do anything for my kids. I’d drag myself and crawl going to the destination, if I needed to, LOL. 🙂
Kiddie Games
After a short introduction by Mommy Lani of TweenselMom.com (thank you!), the McDo kiddie party kicked off with party games.
The host requested that the kids gather in the middle to start their The Boat is Sinking and Bring Me game with a twist.
The kids came up with names and cheers for their groups. Si Z yung nag-deliver ng cheer and I’m so proud that he wasn’t shy kahit first time niya pa lang nakilala yung mga kids.
Games for Moms
What I love about McDo parties is that they don’t just prepare games for kids — meron din for adults! The mommies of MBP had an awesome time joining the games.
For us mommies, kidulting is fun and brings back memories of our long-lost childhood! 🙂
McDo Happy Meals
The next favorite ng mga kids after ng party games — meal time! Chicken McDo, McFries, cheesiest & meatiest McSpaghetti, hot fudge sundae, plus orange juice! Thumbs up from Z! 🙂
Grimace & Birdie
A McDo party isn’t complete without mascot appearances! After mealtime, the kids had a chance to dance and mingle with two of McDonald’s famous characters — Grimace & Birdie! 🙂
Favorite ko si Grimace (it’s obvious!) and I remembered embracing Grimace during my former boss’s birthday at McDo (yes, pwede rin mag-McDo party ang grown-ups noh!)

My bunso’s birthday party this year was held in an orphanage in Quezon City and we ordered Mcdo Happy Meals for the kids. i love this party. i havent been to any celebrations for quite some time now because we are always confined inside the house. this is a real break for us plus the company is so much fun.
We need “breaks” like this one — Moms and kids having fun!
