Munnar is a hill station that has been one of the most popular destinations of south India. The journey to Munnar, especially from Bodinayakanur is truly scintillating. Rent a boat to get across the Mattupattey dam.The Top Station of Kollukkumalai Estate is a place you must definitely visit as it is one of the highest tea estates in the world. Sample different teas and take some back home on the way to the dam from any one of the various tea estates in the region. The Rajamali and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary is a paradise for lovers of flora and fauna. The road leading to the sanctuary offers some brilliant views as well. Travel to Kottayam by train and then commute by local transport to reach Munnar.

The food is lip smacking and elegant because of the heavy French influence and drinks are aplenty.
