The pandemic isn’t over yet so most kids around the globe will still do homeschooling or opt for distance learning to continue their academic courses in an alternative setting. Parents are more involved in their kids’ education during this time than ever, and so they need some helpful tools to keep their kids busy and educated at the same time.
So this website, CulinarySchools.org, has a great list of online cooking games for kids and they’re playable for FREE!
Can I Eat It? Game

My youngest child has special needs and sometimes he puts non-food items into his mouth, so this game is really perfect for him. An item will be shown and the player can click No (if it’s a non-food item) or Yes (if the item is edible). Aside from learning new words, I get to show my child what items are safe to eat.
The Tom & Jerry Show River Recycle

This is a great learning game for kids if you’re trying to teach them about conserving the environment. It is a claw grabber recycling game where your kid can help Tom & Jerry (my favorite childhood cartoon show!) clean up a river.
The player needs to pick up or grab the garbage in the river without grabbing fish or sticks. Timing and decision-making are important skills for this game.
The items grabbed goes into a recycling machine and players can turn them into useful items. What an effective way to teach kids the importance of keeping our seas and oceans clean and safe for all marine life!
Looney Tunes Veggie Patch

Playing with Bugs Bunny in this gardening game is such a delight! Since this game is interactive, your kids can freely do just anything here — grow their own fruits and vegetables, learn how to use various gardening tools, watch out for items being dropped, discover what’s beyond the sandbox, and more!
Find Pair

Find Pair is a memory matching game. It’s a bit different from other matching games because items are shown facing up and on top of each other. Kids will learn how to recognize patterns by matching items. Although this game is for kids, I enjoyed beating levels by doing it faster.
For teens and big kids who are into discovering what career they want to choose in the future, CulinarySchools.org also has comprehensive info about Culinary Arts that you can browse — degree paths & types, top cooking schools and culinary training that they can get into, and online culinary tools. If your kid is interested in food and cooking, get him or her to explore the world of Culinary Arts.
