For me, a new year brings a new perspective, a renewed hope that my life will get better in the coming days. Sometimes all I need is a little push, a pat on the back, or an inspirational quote or two to keep me going.
#BestMeEver book launch
What better way to start the day (and the year) than with positivity and great possibilities. When I attended the #BestMeEver book launch, I was instantly inspired to achieve the best version of myself.
#BestMeEver is a compilation of inspiring quotes and thought-provoking insights. It aims to uplift a confused mind and broken spirit, especially during difficult times. You can read it from start to finish, read the pages randomly for an instant mood boost, or read one page every morning (to set your intention) or every night to have something to reflect on.
I like that the book speaks to all and not to a specific group of people. The tone is also non-preachy.

A proud U.P. Diliman alumnus, The #BestMeEver author Myke Celis, has been in the marketing and advertising industry for 16 years and counting. He’s also an entrepreneur, professional/inspirational speaker, and a part-time lecturer in Ateneo and DLSU Graduate School of Business.
He already published his first book, 100 Life Lessons For Success: Shout Outs for One’s Sensibilities, last 2013. His book #BestMeEver is a product of a traumatic breakup and betrayal of a close friend. 🙁 In order to cope with his depressing situation, he engaged in new activities such as anti-gravity yoga and writing.
He mentioned that he’s happy to inspire his readers to become their #BestMeEver. He receives positive feedback from a lot of people and that alone inspires him to write more.
Top 10 #BestMeEver Lessons Worth Sharing (By Myke Celis)
- Your #bestmeever is no one else’s business.
- There is no exact timeline to follow when becoming your #bestmeever.
- With self-love, comes self-worth. Nurture it.
- You can’t please everyone. Don’t even try. But you can always please yourself by being your best.
- Your positivity and integrity will bring you further in life. Never compromise them.
- When doors close, other windows, doors and even the roof will open. If not, create your own door. (Natawa ako dito. Kung kailangan magbutas o maghukay, gawin mo hahaha!)
- You define your own success. Don’t base it on someone else’s.
- If you listen to each and every comment others have about you, you’ll never find your true self.
- You have at least one thing to be grateful for daily. Don’t settle for the minimum.
- You always have the choice. Don’t be afraid to go for what truly makes you happy and complete.
I’ve been using the #BestMeEver book since the launch and every morning I read a page or two. Madalas sinasabi nila na yung mood mo sa umaga, madadala mo hanggang gabi. Medyo totoo to for me. Minsan kapag bad mood sa simula pa lang ng araw, affected na yung mga susunod na oras. This book has been helping me think about positive thoughts in the morning and STAY positive for the rest of the day. 🙂
We all have that capacity to be the best version of ourselves. If you want your daily dose of good vibes, grab your #BestMeEver copy in major bookstores nationwide.

Sounds like an interesting book to read. I love inspiring and motivational quotes! They’re good pick me up’s when I feel glum.
Sometimes there is a good thing of having yout heart broken. Nakakagawa ka ng book! 🙂
There are a lot of inspirational books na in the market today no? Dati, it’s all intellectual and fantasy books, ngayon, people need more encouragement to be positive.
Sad naman nung story pero at least because of the traumatic experience, may #bestmeever book. I agree, it is really hard to control our moods lalo na kung naumpisahan sa umaga. But it is really up to us to control the situation and change our mood.
I love the concept of this book. For someone who works almost non-stop, there are times that I think of quitting my residency. I quick glance to a page of this book might help boost the tired spirit.
