I’m a sucker for beef strips with sauces. When hubby and I saw The Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak‘s poster, I knew I had to try it. So we headed for the resto beside Teriyaki Boy at SM Annex North EDSA.
We were handed the menu, an order form, and a pencil. Yes, we filled out the form ourselves. Surprise, surprise!
STOP then MOO-OOVE!
I was impressed with this one. Instead of waving your hands in the air to call a waiter, you simply have to flip from STOP to MOO-OOVE! in order to get the crew’s attention.
Smokin’ Fries with Gravy
Ray munched on burger and fries. I called these cowboy food – grilled patties and fries presented in a half-messy, half-yummy kind of way.
My Beef Pepper Rice was getting cooked in front of me. I had to turn over the meat so I don’t get to eat ’em raw. This dish is a bestseller. On a sizzling plate are thinly sliced beef with some special flavorful sauce. Then there’s the Pepper Rice topped with chopped leaks, corn kernels, and of course, pepper.
