Adrienne’s Kitchenette: Affordable & Delicious Lutong Bahay Meals

There was an invitation to visit Adrienne’s Kitchenette last month and I didn’t hesitate to go because you know, FOOD. 🙂 Adrienne’s is a community canteen situated along Scout Gandia St., Brgy. Laging Handa, Quezon City. They serve homecooked meals — yes, lutong bahay. But what’s so special about it? Read the rest of my blog entry to find out.

Dubbed as the ‘Classy Carinderia‘, you can order meals for the same low prices sa carinderia but you get to dine in a cozy place. 🙂

I met Ms. Aiza, co-owner and manager of Adrienne’s Kitchenette. She’s been in the food industry for more than a decade and she’s a hands-on business owner. She mentioned that what she wanted was to offer affordable meals to help the public save money on food. There are a few restaurants around the area but they’re a bit pricey kasi.

Ms. Aiza’s husband also helps out in the kitchen A LOT. Since their opening last month, he has been cooking dishes and running errands everyday. FYI, Adrienne’s Kitchenette was named after their cute daughter. 🙂

What’s even better is hindi nasa-sacrifice yung health ng mga tao. Imagine kung sa fastfood ka na lang kumakain araw-araw, what will happen to your body? At Adrienne’s, they provide a wide selection of healthy and delicious food, from Pinoy favorites to fusion dishes.

Their menu changes daily. Sometimes their loyal customers would request na, “Uy monggo naman bukas!” and they try to cook that dish the next day.

Hungarian Sausage Meal. This is super sulit for PhP 65. They make their own Hungarian sausages and it’s simply delicious.

They served one of their bestsellers, Menudo. Honestly, I don’t like tomato-based dishes but the one I had from Adrienne’s was really good.

Sizzling Sisig for only PhP 110, good for 2 na siya! One of my fave Filipino dishes. I’m impressed that their version is meatier (less fat) kaya hindi nakakaumay.

A big serving of Maruya is only PhP 25. Such a sweet treat.

I swear if I were neighbors with Adrienne’s Kitchenette, I’ll order food from them almost everyday. But hey, they do deliver packed meals so pwedeng pwede kayong umorder if you’re too busy to prepare food for your family.
