Cebu may be a small island in the central part of the country, but it is blessed with so many tourist attractions. Every corner of this island is home to several majestic mountains, waterfalls, and pristine beaches. It is also a highly urbanized city so any travelers can easily access anything just like any other city in the world. Also, several Cebu attractions that are not situated at the heart of the city is pretty much accessible via public transportation and is only a couple of hours away.
That is why a lot of tourists and locals love to repeatedly visit these attractions. Here are the three famous Cebu attractions that tourists love to revisit.
1. Osmena Peak in Mantalongon, Dalaguete
At 1,013 meters above sea level, Osmena Peak is known as the highest point of the island of Cebu. This mountain is nestled between the highlands of the municipalities of Dalaguete and Badian. What makes this mountain unique from the other mountains on this island is the view you will be getting upon reaching the top. You will get to see several hills that look a little bit like the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, only the shape is not rounded but rather pointed. Climbing Osmena Peak is also relatively easy despite it being the highest. If you start trekking from the foot of the mountain, it will only take less than an hour to reach the top. That is why a lot of people love to repeatedly climb this mountain because of its unwavering beauty.
2. Kawasan Falls in Badian, Cebu
Cebu is blessed to have more than 90 waterfalls scattered all around the whole province. And that’s not it. These 90 waterfalls are just the discovered ones. It is believed that there are far more undiscovered waterfalls on the island. One of the most famous waterfalls in Cebu is the majestic Kawasan Falls located in Badian, Cebu. It has three tiers and all of them offer all tourists and locals a spectacular turquoise view. You can also do some exciting activities there other than swimming. You can do some rappelling, go canyoning, cliff diving, and ride on one of the bamboo rafts.

3. Celosia Flower Farms in Sirao, Cebu City
Flower gardens never get old. Flowers just provide an instant attraction to anyone – people from any ages and different walks of life. So when the people discovered that there are beautiful flower gardens in the highlands of Cebu City, it became an instant attraction to tourists.
The Celosia, which is the name of the special flower found in Sirao, originally came from the Netherlands and was brought to Cebu in 1991. After several pictures of the beautiful gardens went viral on social media, a lot of people, both the locals and tourists, repeatedly visit the flower farms to not only take pictures and buy flowers but also enjoy the beauty of it all. The Celosia flower farms in Sirao are also a great venue for photoshoots which is why a lot of photographers visit the area to capture the scenic view of the flowers.
