It’s almost summer and the time to be colorful is near. You should stay away from darks and boring neutrals for a while and try adding “life” to your wardrobe using vibrant colors, such as turquoise and coral.
The coral and turquoise color combo is a simple way to look fresh. Turquoise was used by the ancient Egyptians as jewelry and corals were highly esteemed for their sacred properties. These power colors suit every skin tone (using the right shade) and will make you radiate this summer.
Here’s my take: Add a refreshing aqua vibe to your hot, hot, hot summer by wearing a turquoise dress. Turquoise instantly becomes a fashion on-the-go when paired with coral hues. Break the subtlety with coral reds or go all the way nice with shades of orange and pink. You may also neutralize the overall look with amber and gold to create an interesting color triad of water, fire, and earth.
You can combine corals with neutrals for a subdued look (beige, grey or soft metallics) or match coral and teal (a shade close to turquoise). You can also go color blocking, matching coral with fuchsia and cobalt blue. If you can’t wear an outfit, showcase the colors using accessories and make up. A soft coral lipstick shade or a stack of coral and turquoise bangles will do. Paint your nails coral for added vibrancy too.
Coral and turquoise color inspiration make bright and colorful summer weddings. Who’s up for a coral and turquoise wedding? 🙂
