My failed attempt at making homemade whipped cream in the past made me decide to buy instant whipped cream. I bought Alaska Crema Whipped Cream and I now consider it a staple in our kitchen. 🙂
Gourmet Drink #1: Matcha Latte Milk Tea
It was a lucky day for me because I also spotted an instant matcha powder mix (I love matcha and anything with matcha, yes even the plain, boring green tea.) Try SunSoya MATCHA Latte Milk Tea — 10sticks/box is only PhP 180. The Alaska Crema whipped cream naman is PhP 168. 🙂
So basically the matcha is already pre-mixed so I don’t need to add anything else in. But I want my latte with more milk (hahaha kaya nga latte diba?) I also added a teaspoon of sugar.
I topped my Homemade Matcha Latte with Alaska Crema whipped cream and sprinkles.
Gourmet Drink #2: Iced Coffee
My husband is a coffee addict as much as I am a tea person. When he gets home from work he would always ask me to make his iced coffee. Most of the time I make his favorite personal blend but when I’m lazy I just grab a sachet of Kopiko Blanca, LOL.
One afternoon I served him his usual iced coffee, gourmet style. He was like, “Wow naman!” I topped his iced coffee with Alaska Crema whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, and cinnamon.
Gourmet Drink #3: Strawberry Smoothie with Moringa
I recently bought frozen strawberries from the supermarket so I can make smoothies. Frozen fruits are best for making smoothies, and actually, they can also be turned into ice cream (put frozen fruits in a blender, no liquid — instant ice cream!)
For the strawberry smoothie, I used frozen strawberries, evaporated milk (or fresh milk), powdered milk, sugar, honey, and surprise — malunggay leaves. My kids are picky eaters and they rarely eat vegetables. So what I do is I sneak the vegetables in their smoothies and fruit juices.
My homemade strawberry smoothie is topped with Alaska Crema whipped cream and sprinkles. 🙂
Cream moustache! 🙂

So thankful I chance upon this post. I love drinks and the thrill it gives to my boys. Will certainly buy Alaska whipped cream as well and start doing fun drinks for the family.
Everything looks yummy! I can’t believe I didn’t know Alaska had whipped cream – must check that out! And I love matcha, too. I’ve been meaning to buy that brand at SM pero I didn’t know if it’s good or not. Good thing I read your post!
Oh my gosh, I am such a coffee addict. Nainggit naman ako sa iced coffee na yon. Haha! I sometimes make Iced Coffee here at home too and I sometimes add whipped cream but have never thought of buying choco sprinkles so that I can add those too. Will do that next time! 🙂
Wow! They look yummy and professionally made! Good job! Though I’m not really a fan of creamy drinks (I take my coffee black), these really look tempting. Thanks for sharing the recipes too.
I’ve been seeing a lot of post about Alaska whipped cream. i’ve been meaning to try it at home (ang lakas makastarbucks ang dating haha) but i’m just unfortunate since laging out of stock sa grocery store na pinupuntahan ko. 🙁
Omg. I love shakes and drinks with whipped cream I also have cream in the pantry all the time in case I need a dose. =) Thanks for the recipes. They are easy to do and ingredients are all available here. =) Craving here. =)
I just recently bought Alaska Crema last month, I haven’t tried it yet. I agree with Nilyn, nakita ko kasi na mura siya compared dun sa isang brand so nagtry ko, I hope it is good too. We love whipped cream din kaso namamahalan ko but I will try that, P168 lang pala yung Alaska. 🙂
I bought Alaska Crema last year or early this year, I think and for me, it was among the cheapest in the market. hehe. ‘Di rin sila patatalo sa lasa, masarap din. Now I’m thinking maybe I should buy one again pag nag grocery. hehe. I enjoyed making cold choco drinks with Alaska crema before.
Wow, just wow! These recipes look promising and easy to do. Since I am a huge fan of smoothies, I’d love to try the Strawberry Smoothie with Moringa. Still, I’ll be more than happy to try the others as well. Thank you so much for sharing this, bookmarking it! <3
